About Loan Market Group (LMG, including MyCRM)

Loan Market Group is one of Australia's largest aggregators and ships the MyCRM platform to its brokers. MyCRM is strong on workflow and submissions; TrailScope handles the forward-looking retention, forecasting and AI insight layer on top of MyCRM's commission data.

How commission reaches an Loan Market Group broker

LMG brokers are paid through MyCRM: the lender pays Loan Market Group, your agreement is applied, and the run arrives as a monthly statement — the MyCRM report guide shows the layout. Upfront is a one-off percentage of the settled amount (Australian lenders commonly pay 0.55–0.715% including GST, by lender and product); trail is a monthly percentage of the outstanding balance, typically around 0.15% a year, for the life of the loan.

MyCRM exports are column-typed: Upfront Commission, Trail Commission and clawback in their own columns, generally with an Inc GST variant beside each. The trap is the same as on every column-typed statement — two columns for one commission, and only the inclusive one is revenue. TrailScope ranks the pair and imports the inclusive figure, keeping the exclusive value as the net so the GST component can still be reported.

Three things are set by your aggregator agreement rather than by the lender, and they are where two brokers on the same panel end up with different numbers: the split model (a percentage of every commission, or a flat monthly fee with 100% pass-through), whether trail keeps paying if you move aggregators, and how clawbacks are passed through — netted from the next run, or invoiced. Know all three before you compare your figures with anyone else's.

Whichever column layout you have, book the GST-inclusive figure as the commission and treat the ex-GST twin as a working number — the GST guide shows why recording the exclusive column understates a book by 9%. The lender clawback schedule covers what each lender reclaims on early discharge, and the trail commission calculator projects what one loan pays over its life.

How TrailScope handles your Loan Market Group (LMG, including MyCRM) data

First-class support — MyCRM column profiles are pre-mapped. The standard monthly MyCRM commission export drops straight into the upload pipeline; trail, upfront and clawback rows are routed correctly.

Typical workflow

LMG brokerages typically run TrailScope monthly after the MyCRM export lands. Retention scoring, fixed-rate roll-off tracking and clawback exposure are the highest-value screens. See the /guides/mycrm-trail-report.html walkthrough for a column-by-column read of the report MyCRM produces.

What you get on top of the aggregator

  • Retention scoring — per-loan risk score from 8 weighted factors (settlement age, fixed-expiry proximity, rate-vs-market gap, equity, engagement, loan size, repayment anomaly, tenure).
  • Refinance risk alerts — fired on rate-gap drift, fixed-expiry roll-off 90/60/30 days out, and CCR enquiry signals cross-referenced against your client list.
  • Clawback exposure forecast — 30/60/90-day at-risk dollar figure based on the actual per-lender clawback schedule, not a generic 24-month assumption.
  • Trail income forecasting — 12/24/36-month projections with adjustable churn, rate and clawback-rate assumptions.
  • AI insights — bring-your-own Anthropic, OpenAI or Gemini key. Aggregate-only context — names, emails, phone, DOB and free-form notes are stripped before any prompt leaves the workspace.
  • PDF reports — 6 fixed reports plus a DIY custom-report builder, all in TrailScope branding.

FAQ

Which MyCRM reports does TrailScope read?

The standard MyCRM commission/trail export is the primary input. Column profiles are pre-configured; non-standard columns can be mapped on the first upload.

Does TrailScope replace MyCRM?

No. MyCRM stays the system of record for submissions and broker workflow. TrailScope is the analytical and retention layer on top of MyCRM's commission data.

Does TrailScope work for Wealth Market or Loan Market Connect users?

Yes — LMG-wide commission exports work. Coverage of LMG-internal sub-brands depends on the columns in their commission export; mapping is one-off.

Will TrailScope show me my MyCRM pipeline?

No — pipeline lives in MyCRM. TrailScope focuses on settled-loan analytics, retention and clawback.

Can I link TrailScope to my MyCRM account directly?

Not currently — uploads are CSV/XLSX-based. This is a deliberate decision so the workspace stays portable across aggregators.
